ムアンゲーオ ゴルフ コース

Muang Kaew Golf Course Bangkok suburbs (South)

It is a challenging course with a flat course, sloping greens, and ponds and bunkers scattered throughout. Most of the greens are elevated, so if you miss the green, you will either get caught in a deep bunker or your approach will be difficult, making it difficult to save par. The trees separating each hole are small and few in number, so there is little pressure on the tee shot, which is a slight drawback. However, each hole is designed with a mix of long and short holes, making it a course that players will not get bored of. The greens are fast compared to the average greens in Thailand.

Course Introduction

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course

This is a short hole over a pond that is not very far away. However, there is a pond and a bunker in front of the green, and a bunker at the back. Also, the green is long and narrow, with a vertical width of only 20 yards, so this is a hole where you want to attack with a high ball that has a lot of spin.

The left side of the fairway faces a pond, which crosses the fairway 50-60 yards in front of the green. This makes it difficult for even long hitters to get on in two. The green is very beautiful and slightly elevated, with a slope.

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course

A beautiful short hole over a pond. Although it is short, the pond comes right up to the front of the green, so it is not low in difficulty.

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course

A dogleg to the right. The right side of the fairway faces a pond. The green is elevated and well guarded by bunkers.

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course

This is a long hole with a great layout and plenty of distance. The first shot is a steep dogleg to the right, and the second shot is a dogleg to the left. The pond on the left side of the fairway comes into play on the second shot. There are deep bunkers all over the left side of the large green, and if you hit into one of these bunkers, it will be difficult to save par. The downside is that the tee shot is blind, and you don't know where to hit. The elevated tee solves this problem, and you'll be able to see the whole hole with a great layout.

A very long middle hole. It is best to hit the tee shot as far as possible to gain distance. The second shot is to be hit with a long iron or fairway wood, but an accurate shot is required as there is a deep bunker on the right of the green and a pond in front left.

A very short par 4. If you hit the ball 250-280 yards, you will be caught by the bunkers in front of the green. If you can avoid hitting the bunkers, you will have a chance for a birdie. It is a beautiful hole with a great view of the whole hole from the tee.

  • Muang Kaew Golf Course

The bunkers guarding the green, combined with the unique shape of the green, make this an impressive short hole.
