This is a unique course with six long, six middle and six short holes, which is designed to give long hitters no advantage. Each hole has a unique and varied layout, and the bunkers, rough and ponds around the greens come into play. The course is characterized by many impressive long holes. The tee ground and the green are raised, so most tee shots are downhill and uphill to the green. The rough and the fairway are clearly separated, and if you miss the fairway, you will hit into the grassy rough where the ball sinks deep, or from the bushes. The entire fairway is undulating, so you will rarely hit from a completely flat lie. Overall, this course is more about accuracy than distance, so it is for advanced players.

Alpine Golf Club

This golf course has an unusual elevation difference for a golf course on the outskirts of Bangkok. It has transformed a flat rice paddy area into a wonderful golf course. The rough grass is strong, and players with inconsistent tee shots will have a hard time if they miss the fairway. The majestic grounds are lined with holes with strategic layouts, making this a club course that advanced players will love. Each hole has ponds, bunkers, and trees cleverly placed. The greens are well-maintained and fast, and most of the greens are two-tiered, so if you miss the tier with the cup cut in it, you run the risk of three-putting. This will test your skill in hitting approach shots on the same tier.

Riverdale Golf & Country Club

This is an artificially constructed hill course. It was created by filling a flat area with soil. There are many flat courses around Bangkok, but this course has ups and downs. Most of the par 4s and par 5s are downhill from an elevated tee. The view of the holes played from the tee ground is spectacular, but it does not increase the strategic element. Many of the par 4s and par 5s have uphill holes from the second shot onwards. There are also many bunkers in play, and deep pot bunkers where you just have to get the ball out if you put it in. The fairways are firm, making it easy to get the distance with a driver. The greens have very large undulations.

Suwan Golf & Country Club

A challenging course on a flat site with many strategically placed water hazards and beautiful rolling greens. Water comes into play on 17 of the 18 holes. Some holes require accurate and long driver shots. There are more doglegs on the in-course than on the out-course, and there are many unique holes. The course is one of the best in the Bangkok area, and the fairways are in good condition. It was selected as the course to host the 2011 Thailand Open.

Dragon Hills Golf & Country Club

A forest course located halfway between Kanchanaburi and Hua Hin. Although it is surrounded by mountains, the course is mostly flat with little elevation change. The water hazards and bunkers are well placed, making it highly strategic and challenging. The greens are fast and have undulations. There are many relatively simple holes on the out course, but the in course is full of interesting holes. The 10th, 11th, and 12th holes are particularly impressive. You can play in the middle of nature and feel refreshed.

This course has many water hazards strategically placed on a flat surface. There are 36 holes in total, including the AB course. The CD course is a little shorter, but water is involved on 15 of the 18 holes, so it is a course that requires accurate shots and target golf. The AB course is orthodox, with wide fairways and long distances, and the flat site is designed with ponds here and there, making it a challenging course. Most of the greens are small, so accurate approach shots are required. On the other hand, the CD course is a little shorter, but is a highly strategic course that requires accurate shots.

This golf course has two greens, which is rare in Thailand, and most of the greens are elevated. It is spread out on a flat site, and large trees separate each hole. It has a unique layout and is a wonderful course designed by a Thai person, requiring players to use 14 clubs. All of the par 5s in particular are challenging and highly refined.

The Royal Gems City Golf Club

The out course imitates famous holes from around the world, and the in course perfectly copies the back nine of Augusta National. The overall flat terrain has been raised to create elevation differences. It is unusual for courses around Bangkok, with both downhill and uphill shots. The difference from Augusta is that the trees are still low and small, and the greens are not super fast, but once the trees grow large and densely packed, it is expected that the atmosphere will be closer to Augusta, except for the speed of the greens. The connections between the out holes are excellent, and the nine holes are almost perfectly designed as one golf course. It is a highly challenging and impressive golf course with plenty of strategy. Since it imitates the best parts of the world, the combinations of each hole are stunning, of course.
