リバークワイ ゴルフ & カントリー クラブ

River Kwai Golf & Country Club Kanchanaburi

A hilly course. There are many narrow holes, and if your tee shot curves, you won't get a good score. The greens are small and have a steep slope, so shots aimed at the greens require accuracy. The course was built without interfering with nature, so you can enjoy a wonderful view from the course. The official scorecard states the course is 7,255 yards, but in reality, the yardage on many holes is low, and it's actually around 7,000 yards. Even at that distance, it's definitely a challenging course.

Course Introduction

  • River Kwai Golf & Country Club
  • River Kwai Golf & Country Club

A short dogleg left uphill hole. The tee shot is over a valley with a narrow landing area. The fairway slopes steeply from right to left, making the second shot a tricky toe-up lie. A large tree in front of the green comes into play.

A gentle dogleg hole to the right. The tee shot is over a valley, and the fairway slopes from left to right, so the second shot is from a toe-down lie. Bunkers guard the front left and right of the elevated green.

  • River Kwai Golf & Country Club

A short hole over a pond. Bunkers guard the elevated green on both sides.

A straight hole that starts downhill. A fairway wood is required for the tee shot, as anything over 250 yards will be caught by the river. Be careful with slicers, as there is a high risk of losing the ball if you hit into the trees on the right side of the fairway. The second shot is over a pond towards the steeply sloping green.

A straight hole with OB on both sides. The OB on the right is particularly shallow. The third shot is uphill, and it is best to avoid the deep bunker guarding the front. The best shot is to aim dead at the pin with a spinning third shot.
