チー チャン ゴルフ リゾート
A links-style course with an open view and almost flat. The charm of the course is that you can play while looking at the Great Buddha mural "Khao Chi Chan" painted on the slope of a 160-meter-high rock mountain from all over the course. The fairway is wide and has artificial undulations, and makes effective use of eight large and small ponds, combined with many strategically placed bunkers, making the area around the green particularly difficult. The design requires greater accuracy as you get closer to the green. The green is rich in undulations. There are many ponds on the OUT course, and the fairway is gentle, while the IN course has more ups and downs. Both the green and fairway are in excellent condition, and the view of the course from the clubhouse is beautiful.

A dogleg to the left. Be careful of the pond on the left side and the long FW bunker on the tee shot. Long hitters can get on in two (from the blue tee at 518 yards), but the pond surrounding the left side of the green blocks their path. The green is elevated and two-tiered, and is also guarded by four bunkers.
A straight, long and tough middle course. The tee shot is aimed towards the Great Buddha rock. The fairway slopes to the right on the tee shot, and the three bunkers on the right side are in play for long hitters. The green is a long elevated one, and the left half of the rear of the green slopes to the left.
A wonderful long double dogleg. The tee shot is a gentle dogleg to the right, downhill, with a bunker on the right and a flat second shot with a pond on the left. Long hitters can get on in two, but there are ponds on the left side and in front of the green, making it a risky dogleg to the left. The long green is two-tiered, with the right side higher, and is guarded by two bunkers.

The Big Buddha mural, Khao Si Chan, was carved into the mountain slope with a laser in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of King Rama IX's reign. It is the largest mountain mural in the world and is very impressive. Gold is embedded in the mural using a laser, so you can see the shining gold of the Buddha.
