アルパイン ゴルフ クラブ

Alpine Golf Club Bangkok suburbs (northern)

This golf course has an unusual elevation difference for a golf course on the outskirts of Bangkok. It has transformed a flat rice paddy area into a wonderful golf course. The rough grass is strong, and players with inconsistent tee shots will have a hard time if they miss the fairway. The majestic grounds are lined with holes with strategic layouts, making this a club course that advanced players will love. Each hole has ponds, bunkers, and trees cleverly placed. The greens are well-maintained and fast, and most of the greens are two-tiered, so if you miss the tier with the cup cut in it, you run the risk of three-putting. This will test your skill in hitting approach shots on the same tier.

Course Introduction

It's a fairly straight hole. The tee shot is best to draw the ball as the trees in front can be stymy. The second shot is over a pond. The green is guarded by a pond to the right and a bunker to the left. The green slopes steeply from the back left to the front right.

A short shot over a pond and a huge beach bunker. The green is 40 yards wide, higher in the center and sloping down on both sides.

A very long short hole. Not only is it long, but you have to go over a pond to get to the green, and the green is narrow, making it a very difficult hole. The green is guarded by bunkers on both sides. The green is 45 yards long and narrow, and is strongly backed by the green.

Almost a straight long shot. Long hitters must decide whether to aim for a two-on on the second shot or chip in front of the pond. The long green is surrounded by ponds, and there is a bunker on the front right side of the green. The green slopes to the left, so it is recommended to aim for the left of the pin for your approach shot.

A very tough hole that is almost straight. The landing area for the tee shot is narrow, and the woods on the left and the four bunkers on the left and right come into play. There are five bunkers around the green, which is long and not very deep. Not only the distance and accuracy of the second shot, but also a shot that can stop the ball with good spin is required. The green slopes to the right.

A slight dogleg to the left. The tee shot is over a huge bunker. Be careful of another huge left fairway bunker in the blind. The green has little depth, and there is a pond and one deep bunker to the right, and two bunkers at the back.

A dogleg to the right. The fairway is relatively wide, but there is a pond on the right and a forest on the left. The green is surrounded by ponds on three sides, and a bunker awaits on the right side instead of a pond. This hole requires an accurate second shot.

A short hole with a huge bunker to overcome. The long green slopes to the right, and the left half is a two-tiered green.

A beautiful dogleg to the left. You need a 220-yard carry to clear the left fairway bunker on your tee shot. There is also a fairway bunker on the right, making the landing area for your tee shot narrow. On your second shot, you need to be careful of the line of fairway bunkers on the left. A deep bunker guards the front of the green. The green slopes to the right.

A short par 4 with a dogleg to the left. The tee shot is over a pond, with the pond on the right coming into play. The right side of the green is guarded by a pond and a bunker. The green slopes back from the side to the left.

A dogleg to the right with a pond on the right. On the tee shot, the trees on both sides make the landing area look narrow, but it is actually wide. The second shot is over the pond, and bunkers and slopes on both sides await any mishit.
