ロータス バレー ゴルフ リゾート

Lotus Valley Golf Resort Chachoengsao

A flat course spread across the countryside. It was completely remodeled by Craig Bertram and John Morrow in 2011, 13 years after it opened. The course is long and narrow, with the OUT course going counterclockwise, returning to the clubhouse, and the IN course also going counterclockwise, but the four holes from 13th to 16th change direction and are played on the inside of an oval loop. Water is involved in 17 of the 18 holes, and ponds come into play on 15 of those holes. Bunkers are exquisitely placed around the greens, and many holes are shallow, not only due to the ponds but also in the OB zone, so it can be said that this course requires accuracy rather than distance. It is a course suitable for all players, and there are three extra holes. Formerly known as World Trade Golf & Sports Club.

Course Introduction

A very short, almost straight middle hole. There is a pond just to the left of the fairway and the green. Long hitters can hit the green in one shot if they can carry 260 yards over the pond, but the pond cuts into the fairway 20 to 40 yards in front of the front edge of the green, so caution is required. Four bunkers are lined up on the right side about 250 yards from the tee, waiting for a weak sliced ball aiming for a one-shot. Even if you use an iron for your tee shot, you can aim for the green with a short iron for the rest of the shot, so this is a good "risk and reward" hole.

A difficult dogleg to the left. On the tee shot, there is a pond on the left and several bunkers on the right. The green is long and two-tiered, with the front half heavily sloped, and there are bunkers on the left and right.

A dogleg to the right. The pond comes into play on the right side for both the tee shot and the second shot, and the OB zone on the left is shallow. The green is elevated with a large guard bunker in front opening. The green is a horseback green with two humps.

A beautiful short shot over a pond with a stone wall surrounding the green. The green is long and narrow, sloping to the right.

A short dogleg left middle course with a pond on the left from the tee to the green. Once the tee shot exceeds 250 yards, the fairway narrows and there are three bunkers on the right side. The green is a long, narrow, two-tiered green with a steep step that runs diagonally from the front left to the back right, guarded by two bunkers, and faces a pond at the front.

A long, straight, tough middle course. The pond on the left and the bunker on the right come into play on the tee shot. The green is guarded by three bunkers and has a lot of slope on it, making putting difficult.

A dogleg to the left. Be careful of the pond on the left when you hit the tee shot. The green is almost horizontal with three bunkers on both sides.

A dogleg to the left. On the tee shot, there is a pond on the left and a bunker on the right, but the fairway is relatively wide. The second shot is over the pond, and the pond in front of the left of the green and the bunker in front come into play. The green is slightly elevated and backs onto the green. The view around the green from the second point is beautiful.

A long, slight dogleg to the left. For both the tee shot and the second shot, there is a pond on the left side and a OB zone on the right side. The fairway is tight, with the pond on the left in play. The green is slanted left from the fairway, high in the middle, and slopes from there to the back left and front right. There are three bunkers around the green, and the pond immediately opens up on the left side from just in front of the green.
