ブラック マウンテン ゴルフ クラブ

Black Mountain Golf Club Hua Hin

As the name "Black Mountain" suggests, this is a desert-like valley course with a large difference in elevation that unfolds between small mountains with large black rock faces. Water hazards and bunkers are strategically placed at key points, making it a very challenging course. The fairways are designed to be wide for average hitters, but the further the tee shot flies, the narrower the fairways become, making it difficult for long hitters. The greens are large, and most of them are on the receiving end.

Course Introduction

A long hole that is almost straight. On the tee shot, you need to be careful of the pond 260 yards away on the right. The creek crosses about 50 yards in front of the green, and from there the green swings to the right. Long hitters must choose between cutting in front of the creek or trying to go over it.

  • Black Mountain Golf Club

This is a downhill dogleg hole to the left. Because it is downhill, it is 280 yards from the tee to the pond, so long hitters cannot use a driver. The second shot is onto an island green, which is guarded by bunkers on both sides.

A long hole where you hit down from the tee to the green. It starts with a slight dogleg to the right, then a slight dogleg to the left. Long hitters must decide whether to go over the pond on the second shot or take the safe route to the right. The green is long and back-to-back.

A very long middle hole with a strong dogleg to the right. You need to carry the ball 260 yards to get over the pond. To play safely, aim for the fairway on the left side of the pond, but the distance on the second shot becomes very long and difficult. The second shot is slightly uphill. The green is long and slopes slightly from the front to the back, and the guard bunker on the left is well-equipped.

A famous short hole with a long distance that starts slightly downhill. The green is surrounded by ponds on three sides except for the left side, and the green is long and two-tiered, making it a very challenging hole. There is a beautiful waterfall flowing next to the green.

A straight hole with an uphill shot towards the mountain. The actual distance is longer than the indicated distance. The fairway is wide from the tee shot, so a good driver shot will give you distance. The second shot is difficult, requiring distance and accuracy. Also, if you don't choose the next club, you may not be able to reach the green. The green is guarded by a bunker on the left and a slope on the right.

A short hole over a large pond with a mountain in front of you. The left half of the green is guarded by a long bunker. The green is strongly back-to-back, so if the pin is cut to the far left, it can be quite difficult.
