シー パインズ ゴルフ クラブ

Sea Pines Golf Club Hua Hin

A flat seaside course. A railroad track crosses the middle of the course, dividing it into 6 holes on the beach side and 12 holes on the mountain side. Ponds are involved in 13 of the 18 holes, and bunkers of various sizes are placed throughout the course. The greens are also slightly sloped, making it a highly strategic course. There is a good mix of easy and difficult holes. The fairways are not in good condition, but the greens are well maintained and the ball rolls well.

Course Introduction

  • Sea Pines Golf Club

A dogleg hole to the left. The tee shot is over a pond, and there is a large bunker and pond on the left of the fairway. For both the tee shot and the second shot, the fairway is narrow with a pond on the left and trees on the right. The third shot is over a pond, and the pond faces the right from just before the green. If you miss to the left of the green to avoid the pond on the right, there is a hollow in the rough, which makes it difficult to get close from there. The green has a steep slope.

  • Sea Pines Golf Club

A challenging short hole. A single bunker on the front right of the green comes into play. The green is not very deep, and the back is also guarded by a bunker. The green slopes from the back right to the front left.

A strong dogleg hole to the right. A very long fairway bunker on the right comes into play on the tee shot, and a pond on the right comes into play on the second shot. A bunker and a pond are placed to the right of the strongly elevated green. The green slopes slightly from back to front.

A strong dogleg to the left. The tee shot requires a 245-yard carry to take the shortcut over the pond. The fairway is narrow, and if you use a driver to hit to the right to avoid the pond on the left, you risk missing the green on the second shot because the trees will block your shot. It is safer to aim for the right side of the big tree in front with a 3-wood tee shot. The elevated island green surrounded by ponds has a low center and slopes from both sides.

A very long middle hole with a dogleg to the right. The pond on the right and the fairway bunkers on both sides come into play on the tee shot. The elevated green is surrounded by five bunkers. To get on in regulation, you need to have a long and accurate second shot. The green has a large step.

A signature hole. The fairway is straight and narrow, then turns right at a right angle 100 yards from the green. On the tee shot, there is a pond and a long bunker on the right. For the second shot, you can either aim to get over the pond and bunker in two or you can safely carve a hole. The green is strongly backed and guarded by three bunkers. From the second shot, you can enjoy a great view of the green and the ocean.

A beautiful short hole over a pond. The green is a peninsula type, surrounded on three sides by a pond and one long bunker. There is also a bunker at the back, and the green is not very deep, so there is a high risk of hitting over and getting caught in the bunker. The green slopes steeply from the back left to the front right.

A challenging dogleg to the right. A canal divides the fairway in two, requiring a carry of 240-260 yards to clear it. There is an option to safely tee off just short of the canal. The green is long and narrow and is guarded by three bunkers on the left and one on the right. The green slopes to the right.
