アマタ スプリング カントリー クラブ
A nearly flat parkland course. Many water hazards and strategically placed bunkers come into play, and water is involved in 9 of the 18 holes. The OUT course zigzags clockwise and returns to the class house, while the IN course runs counterclockwise, making good use of the circumference of two large ponds. The long OUT course requires power and aggressiveness, while the IN course requires accuracy and solid course strategy, that is, brain play, as many hazards are involved. The course is 7,500 yards long, and even advanced and professional golfers will be tested on their skills. Although the course was built in an industrial park, it is almost completely cut off from the surrounding scenery, making it a very beautiful course. It is also well maintained. After opening, in January 2006, it has a track record of hosting a major tournament called the Royal Trophy, a national team competition between Asian and European representative players. From 2006 to 2010, it hosted the Royal Trophy four times. In December 2018, the Amata Friendship Cup was held, featuring men's and women's professional and amateur teams from Japan and Thailand.

Course Introduction
A tough middle course with a dogleg to the right. The tee shot is over a pond, and there is a large cross bunker that is 210-230 yards away, and even after passing that, the pond on the right side is in play. The second shot is a slight uphill shot over the river, and the green is long and narrow, with two bunkers on the left side. The green slopes down from the middle to the back, so it becomes more difficult if the pin is placed at the back.
A dogleg to the right. You need to carry 230-250 yards to get over the bunker on the right corner. The green is elevated and surrounded by four large bunkers, so you need to make an accurate second shot. The green is two-tiered, and the view of the large pond looking back from the green is magnificent.
A long, dogleg-to-the-right course. On the tee shot, there are three bunkers in a row on the right corner, limiting the landing spot. Further to the right of the bunker is a pond, and there is a gentle downward slope from the second shot to the green, with the second shot having to cross four cross bunkers. The green is guarded by a pot bunker on the front left, a large, deep bunker on the right side, and a pond at the back. The green is long vertically, with a two-tiered shape that is slightly lower at the back, and when the pin is at the back, the pond at the back comes into play, making it more difficult.
A relatively short middle course with a dogleg to the left and a pond on the left. From the tee shot, the left side of the fairway slopes to the left and faces the pond, while two bunkers are open on the right. The long green is slightly elevated and protected by bunkers on both sides and the pond on the left.
A long middle shot with a gentle downhill dogleg to the left. The second shot is not only long, but also requires skill as it must be hit from a downhill lie onto an elevated green. The green is a long, sloping green with bunkers on the right and back, and the front and left sides are downhill fairways where if you don't land on the green, your shot will roll down.
A signature hole, a short hole with an island green. Not only the pond but also the bunker on the front left of the green comes into play. The green is long and narrow, with a ridge running down the middle. It's not that difficult as long as the distance isn't long and the wind isn't strong. The green is completely floating on water, and it is unique in that you have to go there and back by special boat.
A long and challenging middle hole that is almost straight. The tee shot is over a pond, with a pond on the left side, and if you go to the right side, two bunkers await, and the fairway slopes slightly toward the pond on the left. The green is backed by an artillery battery, and a creek runs to the left of it. It's a great hole if you can get par. The waterfall at the back left of the green is beautiful.
