ブラパ ゴルフ & リゾート (イースト コース)

Burapha Golf & Resort (East Course) Sriracha

A hilly course consisting of 36 holes, Courses A and B, and Courses C and D. Courses A and B are a little longer and relatively flat, with a layout inspired by American golf courses. Courses C and D have many ups and downs that make use of the hilly terrain. The 2010 Thailand Open was held using a combination of Courses D and B. Courses C and D are championship courses where local Thai tournaments such as the Pattaya Open are held every year. Courses A and B are nearly 7,200 yards long, with four middle holes over 450 yards, so you need to hit the ball far off the tee to make a good score. There are a total of six ponds involved. Many of the holes on the out course are monotonous, but the in course is a little more varied.

Course Introduction

  • Burapha Golf & Resort (East Course)

A beautiful short hole over a pond. It gives the illusion that the pond cuts into the front of the green, but in fact there is a good distance between the green and the pond. The pond doesn't come into play, but the bunker guarding the left side of the green does.

A slight dogleg to the right. The green is well guarded by bunkers on both sides. The view of the green and the mountains behind it from the second shot is magnificent.

  • Burapha Golf & Resort (East Course)

A relatively short and straight middle hole. The tee shot is downhill. The best route is to hit to the right side of the fairway, in which case the pond and bunker on the right side will not be of much use on the second shot.

A dogleg hole to the right with a pond on the right and OB on the left. The entire hole can be seen from the elevated tee. Long hitters can take a shortcut over the pond on their second shot, so they can aim for a two-on. Bunkers are placed on the left and right of the green.
