ワンジャン ゴルフパーク (左グリーン)

Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green) Rayong Chanthaburi

This is a magnificent golf course that was converted from rubber, pineapple, and sugarcane plantations. It is built on a deep, clearing forest, so you can play in the middle of nature. The old trees that existed before the development and the new trees that decorate the course give each hole an artistic beauty. It is a rare two-green system in Thailand. The two greens are not the small greens that are often seen on Japanese courses, but rather large, 40 yards long on each hole, and have severe undulations. There is a right green on Saturdays and a left green on Sundays. The right green is over 7,200 yards long, making it more difficult than the left green, but the left green is also nearly 7,100 yards long, making it a very challenging course.

Course Introduction

  • Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green)
  • Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green)

The tee shot is slightly downhill, and the second shot is slightly uphill. From the tee, the trees on both sides of the fairway look like they are closing in, which puts you under pressure. If you hit your tee shot to the right side of the fairway, the trees surrounding the left half of the green will not get in the way on your second shot.

  • Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green)

A long par 5 that curves almost at a right angle to the right. From the second shot, there is a pond on the left side of the fairway.

The tee shot is over a lake, making this a beautiful par 4. Not only is it long, but it is also difficult because it is completely separated by trees.

  • Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green)

This hole crosses a small hill. After a tough uphill shot, there is a tough downhill shot. If you hit to the right side of the fairway, the trees in front will not block your second shot, so you can aim for a two-on. However, since it is a blind hole where you don't know where to hit your second shot, you will need to follow the instructions of the staff at the top of the hill. Once you reach the top of the hill, a magnificent view will unfold below you.

This is a dogleg to the left par 4 with the fairway bunkers in play. The green is long and narrow with a pond on the left.

A par 3 over a pond. The green is two-tiered, with a left and right side. The green is elevated, and if you hit your tee shot even a little short, it may roll down into the pond. Also, if you hit it over, a bunker awaits. You can see a cluster of banana trees at the back of the green.

  • Wangjuntr Golf Park (Left Green)

This is a dogleg to the left with a downhill tee shot. The green is elevated, making this a highly strategic hole. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as the play. There are four different trees on the right and left side of the fairway, and on the left and back sides of the green. They are stately and beautiful, and soothing to the soul.
