ミッション ヒルズ プーケット ゴルフ リゾート & スパ

Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort & Spa Phuket and Koh Samui

A course with spectacular views. The nine holes on the outward side are flat, taking advantage of the largest lake on Phuket Island, with six holes surrounding the lake. The nine holes on the inward side are a hilly course with varying elevations built at the foot of the mountains, with water involved in five holes. The course is not particularly long, but the outward and inward sides have different styles, and the water hazards, palm groves, and bunkers are strategically placed, making it an enjoyable course to play. For a resort course, it is in excellent condition.

Course Introduction

The final hole is a fairly straight one with the green swung to the left. A pond is involved on the left from the second shot, and the third shot must be over the pond to reach a raised green in the water. The green is shared with the 5th hole.

A slight dogleg to the right. The fairway is tight, and the entire right side is lined with water from the tee to the green. The green is further to the right, so the second shot must go over the water. The green has complex undulations.

A short hole where you hit into a green surrounded by beach bunkers. The green looks like a small island floating in the beautiful ocean behind it and the beach bunkers. You can enjoy the wonderful contrast between the white beach bunkers, the green, and the blue ocean.

A slight dogleg to the right. The tee shot is into a fairway that is suspended over a huge beach bunker. The second shot requires a shot over a pond. The shared green with the second hole is slightly elevated, and unless you play an accurate approach shot, the ball will be caught in the pond.

This is a difficult hole that doglegs to the left from 100 yards away. There is a river on the left side of the hole, making the landing area for the tee shot narrow. The green is slightly elevated, and the bunker in front is in play.

This is a long hole with a dogleg to the left. A beach bunker runs down the left side of the fairway from 220 yards from the tee, and crosses it about 120 yards in front of the green. The huge beach bunker is as large as the fairway and is impressive. The ocean behind the green as seen from the third shot is also very impressive.

A short hole with a short distance. The green is narrow and is guarded by a deep bunker and a river on the right and a pot bunker on the left, so an accurate shot is required.

A dogleg hole to the right. Both the tee shot and the second shot are over a pond. The front of the green faces a pond, making the second shot especially difficult. This hole usually has two greens, with the right green being more difficult and the left green being easier as the pond is not so involved.
