Course Introduction

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

A spectacular downhill hole with a slight dogleg to the right. The landing area for the tee shot is narrow, so the shot requires some tension. The view from the tee is also wonderful. The second shot is over a creek to a long, narrow green. The accuracy of the tee shot is more important than the distance.

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

A straight hole. The tee shot is over a valley and the second shot is a steep uphill shot. Two deep bunkers guarding the front of the green are in play. The green is long and three-tiered.

A downhill par 3 hole. A valley cuts into the front of the green, so an accurate carry is required. The green is long and narrow, and if the pin is on the right, the green is only about 20 yards deep, so if you aim for the pin, you are more likely to get caught in the hazard.

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

A long, straight hole. The tee shot over a valley splits the fairway into two, with the fairway higher on the right side over the stones. The second shot is a slight downhill shot to a 40-yard long green with two tiers, and you risk three-putting if you don't land on the tier where the pin is.

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

A short par 3 hole with a drop of about 40 meters, the green lies at the bottom of the valley and offers a magnificent view of the mountains surrounding the green.

This is a difficult dogleg left hole with an uphill second shot. The green is almost 60 yards long and faces rocks on the right and a cliff on the left, and is not very wide, so an accurate second shot is required.

A straight hole. Both the tee shot and the second shot are over a valley. On the tee shot, there is a creek on the right, limiting the landing spot. The second shot is an uphill shot. The fairway is slightly undulating and difficult.

  • Santiburi Samui Country Club

A relatively long par 3 hole. The green is long and narrow, and the rough on the left and back of the green slopes steeply, so caution is required.

A long, straight par 4 hole. The tee shot lands in a blind spot, and the ball carries 210 yards over a ridge and rolls down a sloping fairway, allowing you to gain distance. The second shot is downhill. The view from the fairway beyond the ridge blends in with the ocean in the distance, offering a magnificent view.

A signature hole. It is a dogleg to the left, and the second shot is a spectacular downhill shot. The tee shot must avoid the cliffs on the left side. The tee shot is a little blind, but after 250 yards, you can gain another 50 yards due to the steep rollercoaster-like downward slope. The second shot is over a creek that crosses the fairway, and the green is 170 yards away from the fairway around the creek, still quite high. The approach shot is often affected by the hazard in front of the green and the three bunkers around the green. You can enjoy a panoramic view at the top of this hole.

A spectacular dogleg downhill hole to the right. Be careful of the hazard on the right side on your tee shot. The view from the tee is spectacular.
